I've been rather busy as of late due to the amount of journalism work I've picked up but I'm back to post another love letter to analog film.
At some point last year, I decided to begin a little photo story based on the employees of a restaurant in Reseda, Calif. I'm about 5 rolls into the project but this is the first image I've released before I feel like the story is complete and ready for the public. It's far from it by the way. Not sure when it'll be complete but like the saying goes, "It's done when it's done."
It gets pretty hot inside the kitchen of a restaurant. Even when the air conditioning is on full blast. I took this photo of Sergio during a down time at the restaurant where there weren't many customers.
Here, Sergio, the main chef/kitchen manager, extends his arm to refill his cup with ice water.
